Join us for this exuberant jukebox musical that shoehorns the songs of Elvis Presley into a narrative that’s part camp, part romantic farce. The loopy tale of mismatched lovers in a 1955 Midwest burg incorporates classics that range from sweet romantic ballads such as “Love Me Tender” to the rollicking “Devil in Disguise” and the hip-swiveling title song. Starting with a gender-bending plot device reminiscent of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, stir in a dash of Footloose, then seasoned with humorous flashes from sundry vintage shows such as The Music Man and Bye Bye Birdie. All Shook Up is a gem, driven by sidesplitting tongue-in-cheek humor, those evergreen chart-toppers, and a tinge of genuine heart.

The hilarious story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty authoress who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. When the authoress decides to give a speech on the state of the modern theatre during the curtain calls, the audience is treated to a madcap climax to a thoroughly hilarious romp.
